Does Midol work better than Tylenol or regular ibuprofen for menstrual cramps or is it just a marketing thing

yes because it gets rid of all the symptoms instead of just pain

Well, for me, Tylenol makes me sleepy, and I have to take more than three ibuprofen for it to work.
Midol is da bomb.

It has caffine in it, and thats supposed to help headeches and stuff.

If i did not have midol i do not think i would make it through my periods.i think its so much better then anything else on the market!

Actually midol is the same as ibuprofen. Same active ingredient. Compare the bottles. It really depends on your body as to which works best though. For instance tylenol does absolutly nothing for me but ibuprofen works wonders. Some other people are opposite. Just see which works best for you. But yes midol is just a marketing scheme. Advil or just regular ibuprofen is the same thing.

You know what works better than anything?? Alieve!! And it is a 12 hour med!! I had a partial hysto 2 yrs ago, so I am done with the crampy stuff, but my daughter took Aleive for something else and found it took her cramps away for the day. Try that..it is less expensive too.

Take two pills the first time..then only one at a time after that.

i find that regular ibuprofen works just fine, so why buy the more expensive medicine? i mean, midol works too but it is pretty much equal
