I am on my 3rd day taking Zoloft. I'm walking around like a crackhead! Any suggestion how to calm down

It takes a week or so for the insomnia and jitters to go away as your body gets used to it. Contact doc if it keeps up and does not get better .

hi. talk to your dr about cutting the dosage either in half or in quarters. your body needs to adjust slowly. even if the dr. thinks it is the right dosage to start at. He does not know how your body will react. you need to take baby steps. good luck

You will not see or feel results of Zoloft until at least 2-3 wks of consistantly taking them. same time everyday do not skip a dose and don;t double dose. Just give them about 2-3 wks for a theraputic level to be reached your blood stream. You may not notice a difference but your family and friends will notice a difference in your mood. they wo not make you high or stupid..they will just enhance your already hidden personality which is most likely a good one.

What time of day are you taking it? Last thing at night or first thing in the AM? SWITCH it!

That sounds odd. Did you start out on a smaller dosage, like smaller mgs rather than the larger ones, or did you start out on the big ones first? Normally the doctors have you start out small and work your way up. Oh, that reminds me of something funny I saw at the biker rally last night. Looking at the patches, I saw one that said, ''Heavily medicated for your protection.'' lol I thought that was funny!
