I am 15 and 111 pounds and my doctor increased my Zoloft to 100 mg because I've been taking 50 mg for about a month and have not felt any improvement. l heard taking too high of an amount of Zoloft will make you emotionless and feel like a zombie. That scares me, is it true?
Btw I am 5 foot so I am not really skinny.

I was on Zoloft too and had a horrible experience. My doctor switched me to Effexor and is better now.Everyone is individual, and just because a medication works for one person, does not mean it is right for another.

There are a whole variety of anti-depressants available and everyone has their side effects.I cannot recommend anything, that is up to your doctor to switch medications.
You really need to consult your doctor first.

My doctor upped my Zoloft dosage from 50mg to 100mg and I did not feel like a zombie. I actually did not feel any different from 50 to 100 so he switched medication. Try the 100mg, if you start to feel zombie-ish, then let him know, maybe he will drop you to 75mg or something. Do not freak out over it.

I had not heard that. I had that problem with lithium, once. It is ok, if you have that problem, you just call up your doc & he/she will probably just say to back off on the drug again & the side effect will go away. Not everyone gets the same side effects. It is not permanent, you just might get that while you are on the med at that dose, if you get that side effect at all.
