l used adderall for about a year and a half and then l used the Zoloft for about three months when l decided to stop with all medication. l didnt feel like my self at all while on these and now that ive been off of them for about a year l still dont feel like l used to. Are there long term effects of these meds that screw with your emotions or brain and if there are do they ever go away? Anyone else expierence this?

Long term effects of Zoloft and Adderall

Adderall is an amphetamine. Speed. The prescription version of METH.

Zoloft is a SSRI (or MRI, I forget) & also acts on ur brain.

If u have a need for these medications, u should take them. But the combo of them may be what made u feel strange.

You should talk to ur doctor before getting off of medication that u may need. Tell him/her about the side effects & s/he will switch u to something else that may work better for ur personal biology & needs.

You were only on the one for 3 months & the other for a year & a half. Unless u were ABUSING the adderall, there should not be any long term side effects. And the Zoloft was not really in ur system to do very much at all.

3 months on an SSRI is long enough for side effects to come & go but it would not have done any permanent changes to ur brain structure.

And as I said above, unless u were, u know, snorting the adderall or using WAY more than the dose ur doctor prescribed, I seriously doubt that it did anything that would still be manifesting a year later.

A better place to investigate this would be http://crazymeds.us

They may be able to tell u more than I.
